Each Grupo Britt gift shop promotes the cultural heritage and local crafts of its home nation. In this way, talented, small-scale local artists export and sell their wonderful creations to the world. We also support a variety of cultural programs and organizations, including:
Grupo Britt’s CoffeeTour helps to preserve Costa Rica’s coffee-growing heritage. Over its more than 18 years, this informational and theatrical work has given more than half a million visitors from all parts of the world a glimpse of coffee’s history, processing and quality production.
Grupo Britt actively supports Terrúno Espressivo, a professional theater & artist troupe notable for the creative and culturally enriching performances it stages for both urban and rural Costa Ricans. The artist is at the nexus of theatrical works that, together with a repertoire of world-renown writers, make it easy to create new audiences.
We work with the Children’s Artistic Association to create murals and support artistic endeavors in many different communities. These projects breathe new life into public spaces and get the community involved in neighborhood renewal.
