Grupo Britt is an active member of ProParques, an organization created by a group of academics, conservationists and business people with the shared goal of improving Costa Rica’s National Parks. The organization seeks practical and immediate solutions to the problems of understaffing and funding within our country’s protected, wildlife areas.
Amigos de los Parques Nacionales
Grupo Britt is a “Guaria" and "Bosque" Member of Amigos de los Parques Nacionales, a membership program created by ProParques, Fundecor and SINAC to provide individuals, organizations, tour companies and other businesses a chance to prove their commitment to the sustainability of Costa Rica’s national parks. .

ECOLOGICAL PATROLS
Grupo Britt is actively involved in Ecological Patrols, volunteerism and program sponsorships that benefit the children of the communities of Heredia. Ecological Patrols creates a culture of environmentalism in younger generations to help ensure a thriving future and improved quality of life. The children work together to paint, draw and create in contact with nature and using recycled materials. They gain life experiences, civic values and lessons in morality.

Grupo Britt supports the Xtremas Foundation by providing volunteers and product donations. The foundation was created by people of different nationalities and professions united in the common goals of environmental healing and personal and cultural strengthening – vital qualities for sustainable community progress and quality of life.

FU-PROVIRENA
Grupo Britt supports the Foundation for the Protection and Vigilance of the Natural Resources of Heredia (FU-PROVIRENA) by donating uniforms and computer equipment, providing volunteers and helping improve infrastructure. The foundation participates in conservation and wildlife protection in Braulio Carrillo National Park and the province’s northern reserves. It works to provide future generations with a better quality of life, expand natural forest cover and recharge ground water supplies.
