Grupo Britt has had the ISO 9001:2001 international quality certification since 2001. The company offers products and services that meet or surpass standards of quality, health and food safety (based on the principles of HACCP). 

We submit yearly to external audits of quality, environmental and safety systems. Financial audits and certifications of proper tax payments are performed yearly by international firms in the countries where Café Britt operates.

Grupo Britt contributes to society with a solid work ethic. We prove that with a lot of effort and perseverance it is possible to carry out relevant and innovative projects and be internationally competitive.

Grupo Britt has a code of ethics and policies that regulate relations with employees, suppliers, investors, shareholders, the government and associations. Our security policies are certified with BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce). The company follows corporate governance policies that reflect the best practices of transparency. Control systems include:

  • Document tracing and monitoring for each line of operation, from receiving raw materials to delivering the product to the customer.
  • Critical evaluation of suppliers and their security systems.
  • Programs for hiring new personnel and reviewing the conditions of existing personnel.
  • A culture of attention to security risks.
  • Confidential system for reporting suspicious activity.

Grupo Britt knows that governments alone can't solve our country's problems. Real solutions depend  on the willingness and resources of all of society and its diverse participants. CODE OF ETHICS

Our Code of Ethics is based on the definition of "Character" described in our Quality Statment ("We're honest and ethical people..."). The code is a collection of practices that reflect workplace values. It's a guideline for how we do business. It serves as an "internal compass" that helps Britt personnel recognize ethical limits and avoid ethical conflicts.

It enables all our coworkers to be part of our legacy of workplace ethics. It's a legacy that goes much further than the law requires.
