Just as our Code of Ethics says, at Britt we do business transparently, always applying the principles of “Fair Play.”
We’re clear and direct in our business dealings. We’re truthful with our suppliers and our clients. We keep the information and procedures of both our company and theirs confidential. We never look for an exclusive benefit in this type of business. We’re objective and respectful of our competitors, careful and attentive in our cooperation with the authorities and mindful of strengthening of the laws of commerce.
Fair Price Policy
As a country-of-origin roaster, Grupo Britt has always ensured that its business model was based on paying coffee farmers above-market prices for their valuable crop. In this way, we contribute to the economic self sufficiency of small and medium-sized growers. All our coffees are based on fair-trade pricing.
Café Britt Fair Trade
This outstanding dark roast from the high mountains of Costa Rica’s Brunca region has an important distinction. The growers’ cooperatives that supply it are 100% certified “Fair Trade.” That means that their wages and working conditions meet or exceed the standards of the International Fair Trade Organization.
The Fair Trade seal is an independent guarantee that this coffee has been produced according to international Fair Trade standards. Your purchase contributes to the security and economic self sufficiency of Costa Rica’s small and medium-sized growers.
